Pillow Talk

The other night, Ava came to our bed at around 5:30 a.m. and climbed right in between us. This is still her usual routine.  I rolled over and kissed her and then got up to pee.  When I came back she was still awake enough to know I was there.  She patted my pillow and said, "here mama, I saved a spot for you." then she rolled over and went to sleep.  I smiled and said, "thanks honey."
