Completion of C Week

C week was a piece of Cake.  :)  We started with learning to Care for others who Can't Care for Themselves.  Angel found out some information on a local ministry that needed some items donated for a friend.  We got together and took the ministry some Cans of Carrots and Cans of Corn and Coca-Cola Cups along with some other random items.  The kids had a lot of fun finding items in the house we could do without.  It was pretty fun to watch their faces as they were trying to think about what else this ministry needed. 

My heart melted when Ava suggested we donate a Bible so they have the Bible to read.  We took a special trip to Ollies and she picked out a Bible to donate.  She made me so proud.  She actually tried to give her Bible away and I explained that we could go buy a new one.  This was a great idea that Angel had though.

We also did some Cheese on Cracker snacks which is the kids favorite snack of all time so they were very excited about that.  Christian mailed a picture of Celery he Colored to his Cousin Cate and then Ava mailed a Card to her Cousin Cecilia.  We sand some C songs and read some C books.

One of our Crafts we did was putting together some puffy Cotton ball Clouds.  They had fun with this activity because they love to use Glue.  :)  The craft worked out pretty nicely.

We also had our Cousin Kelsey over to spend the night and we did a Costume party dress up night.  The kids had fun acting Crazy in their Costumes.

Last but not least, Grandma had a back to school party for the kids and she made an angle food Cake in the shape of the letter C.  She also had Cut up Celery, Carrots, Cucumbers and Cantaloupe for the meal to help the kids.  They appreciated this too.  All and all it was a great week.
